Odium Records is a small, elite, underground label mainly occupied with extreme Black Metal. In the future a sublabel - Dark Mystery Productions - is to be opened and it will deal with widely comprehended Dark Ambient. Until now, Odium Rex activity was related and limited to the recordings of Black Altar horde, whose first release was a 1998 demo "Na Uroczysku…". Currently the activity of the label has been extended to include the recordings of other bands. The profile of Odium Rex is closely related to musical taste and world view of the owner of the label - Shadow. One should not expect any commercial acts, whose primary aim is to beat another selling record. The selection of the bands is carried out very carefully and each band must meet high musical and ideological standards. The albums issued behind the façade of Odium Rex are high quality releases characterized by an above-the-average promotion and distribution in the world. By means of our releases we want to worship the Black Metal ideals and spread the message of Darkness and Death in today's imperfect world. The war goes on...
